About the Author – 
Eoin Colfer (pronounced “Owen”) is an Irish writer born in 1965 in Wexford, Ireland, known especially for his Artemis Fowl series. He worked as a primary school teacher before becoming a full‑time author after the success of his early books like Benny and Omar (1998). His stories often combine fantasy, technology, adventure, humour, and morally ambiguous characters, making them appealing to both younger readers and adults.
