About the Author – 

Raina Telgemeier is an American cartoonist and illustrator renowned for her graphic novels that resonate with middle-grade readers. Born on May 26, 1977, in San Francisco, California, she graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2002. Telgemeier gained widespread recognition for her graphic novel Smile, an autobiographical account of her childhood dental misadventures, which became a #1 New York Times bestseller.
